It seems like the Iowa Association of Student Councils (IASC) caused quite a stir at this year's national conference of student councils with their Iowa-themed t-shirts and caps. Here's what IASC Executive Director had to say:
Whether any of that hits home for you or not, it never hurts to evaluate your relationships and make sure what you have is the best fit for your program.
The rules for volleyball uniforms as laid out by the NFHS, NCAA, and other governing bodies are among the most rigid in all of organized sports. It's important that you work with a team dealer that understands those guidelines and can get your team outfitted in custom or stock uniforms that comply with all regulations while still being distinctly your own.
The Graphic Edge is a leading dealer for the biggest names in volleyball uniforms, including Under Armour, adidas, Mizuno, and Alleson. We know the rules of the game and we know how to get your team on the court in team wear that looks great, promotes team pride, and meets all the requirements of the ruling bodies.
Custom or stock is one of the first — the very first, actually — question that you need to answer when shopping for volleyball uniforms. The key differences are cost and time to delivery. Stock uniforms are much less expensive and can generally deliver in just a few weeks. Custom uniforms cost more and take somewhat longer. Your team sales rep can give you the price and delivery specifics for the various custom volleyball uniform brands we carry.
That being said, you may wonder why anyone would pay more and wait longer for custom uniforms rather than stock volleyball uniforms. In a word — sublimation.
Actually, that word isn't terribly helpful unless you know what it means. So, without getting too technical, sublimation is a fabric dying process that is growing in popularity as a method of decorating team uniforms. The key advantages that it offers are the lightweight fabrics used in the process and the eye-catching designs that would be virtually impossible to achieve with other methods.
The downside, as already noted, is that sublimated volleyball uniforms cost a bit more and take a bit longer than other styles. It's also worth noting that minimums may be higher for sublimated uniforms, as well.
Clearly then, there's a lot to consider as you search for your volleyball team's next set of uniforms. But don't feel like you need to go it alone. Talk to one of our team uniform specialists. Ask them to bring you some samples of stock and custom uniforms. Compare, contrast, and consider. Then rest assured that whichever you choose, you'll have the peace of mind that comes with our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
